i was woundering if i could but another car battery in my car so i can run my sound system. so my car battery wont run dead

If you plan to play the system for long periods with the engine off, a second battery makes sense as long as you use a battery isolator. An isolator will prevent the audio system from drawing power from the battery used to start the engine.

If you expect to use the audio system only with the engine running, then don't bother adding a battery.

what you want is an extra power cell, i recomend a kinetik. www.kinetikpower.com and this way you dont have to replace your battery. Dont get like a little cap or something from wal mart or anything like that. On the website you can enter in car and stereo info and it will tell you what size you need.
