steve right, and i dont understand why others cant have that much respect. it makes you wonder how they would treat their child that grew up to be an atheist.

REAL Christians should have no problem doing that, since the vast majority of actual Christians are very tolerant and sensible people. Atheists' comments and views would be far more problematical to the narrow-minded PSEUDO-Christians of the RRR Cult... the "Religious" Radical Right.

Sure they have valid points. They are human beings who have the ability to think. However, I used to be an agnostic because I knew that you cannot prove that God doesn't exist and so I think that it is rather odd for someone to have a positive belief that God doesn't exist as opposed to just doubting the existence of God.

I try to acknowledge all valid points, atheist, agnostic or otherwise. Even religious points that are different than my own views. I wish I could get the same from them, though. I'm not an idiot, I don't talk to non-idiots as if they were idiots, and I'd appreciate the same in return. It's fine to disagree with me. It should be ok for me to disagree with others.

Yes, sometimes atheists have valid points.
I realize that you have been beaten over the head with this stuff, and that some of my fellow Christians are pretty obnoxious, but some of us have a genuine concern. We believe that without Jesus, people go to hell, and we don't want that to happen to you. Will you consider the possibility that Jesus is the only way to salvation?

Yes. I just now told someone they made a good point. I am not so proud that I can't admit when I don't know an answer. But I hate questions that purposely say stupid and unanswerable things. It is pointless.

Yes! i often do
Its pretty rare to see atheists take theist's points into consideration though. Some of them pay no atention to awnsers that disagree with their point of views (others don't, though)
Personally, i've been learning a lot from some those guys

Yes, they do. I respect all peoples and all religions although I don't agree with them. Sometimes their questions and answers make a lot of sense and their viewpoint is understandable.

You are asking people who deny the many millions of hours of research and gathered data that make up the mainstream scientific principles and understandings we know today, ..to have an open mind...
Good luck..
