Normally I don't but I had to today because I was at the mall -- I didn't want fast food, and my parents want me to eat supper every day. Now I'm very anxious because I was told if you eat after 7 PM & once your exercise is done it'll cause weight gain/stop weight loss.

Is any of this true?

(I'm a recovering anorexic. I gained alot of weight even at my healthy weight because of anti depressants and now I'm trying to lose it. I still have alot of anxieties about food so this worries me alot more than it would the average person.)

If it matters at all, I run/jog daily, walk daily, and do sit ups/use my thigh toner/do workouts from magazines every second day. I don't eat alot throughout the day and I don't eat junk food or drink soda anymore.

You're fine =) As long as you are eating properly it's not going to hurt if you eat a little later then usual.

If it really worries you, dance around for a little bit to burn off some calories.

It's a total myth. I actually wake up to eat. I usually eat some extra lean turkey breast.

the "no eating after ___ pm" is mis-leading. it really depends on when you go to bed. the key is to gradually cut down on the size of your meals as your day progresses. it's because you'll be less active during the nighttime (of course, if you're planning to go out dancing or you work out late, it might make sense to take in a good meal before you head out). but as a general rule, you wanna give yourself a few hours to digest your last meal before going to bed. your body's metabolism decreases while you're in bed, so it won't be the best time for it to digest food. but you also don't wanna go to bed on an empty stomach, otherwise you'll wake up too hungry and might consume too much the next day.

Check out the study below.

That would really depend on what time you go to bed.
It doesn't really matter though if you eat after 7. If you're really worried about having a meal past 7, just cut out and sugars or starchy carbs and you'll be good to go.

If you are trully hungry eat,but eat something light and that satisfies you. Also drink plenty of water. Apples are good to curb your appetite and easy to digest. good luck and you wont get fat by that just work out good tommorow.
