No, I do not believe so. People who are tolerant do not use strong arm tactics and are not fanatical about forcing tolerance down other people's throats, and that is not always the case with those who are not... so no, it will not happen.

While this is a beautiful thought, I don't think it will happen in our lifetimes. The reason I think that is because of the nature of humanity. We each have beliefs (and yes, even atheists have a belief system, they just believe in things other than gods and religions) and because those beliefs are so personalized by us if anyone believes differently, they must be wrong. Likewise, if someone tells us that we are wrong for believing what we do, we see it as a personal attack. I don't think this is likely to change. And I'm not sure what it would take for us to just accept that not everyone believes what we believe. Only time can tell this one.

Will gays lay off believers too?

Will gay advocates stop attacking upholders of traditional morality and marriage as"bigots","hypocrites","ignorant","obstacles ",etc?

Will gay militants ever agree to disagree with the vast majority of humanity and stop demanding that we bless "the lifestyle"?

The nastiness has been two-sided.

I disassociate myself from all "homohatred" and I do not find it to be in the spirit of Christ.
I also find the advocacy of homoerotic sex and "marriage' by clergy belonging to Christian Churches or Jewish Synagogues bizarrely alien to their heritage and calling.

This is a highly emotive issue and demonizing the other side does not clear the message.

As a believing Christian I cannot accept homosexual "marriage' and should not be forced to or to subsidize it or its proselytizing zeal, especially when it is directed at my children.

No. No one wants it to. Differences exist, always have and always will. Even if all the world came under one religion (and it's going to), there are plenty of other differences to focus on and call people stupid for. Hell, we use race, what could be more ignorant than that??!! It'll always be something. Can't stop it.

incredibly you're asking a large question. i think that intolerance of different religions is one clarification why we've a lot branch among human beings on earth. enable me provide you an answer from my perspective. i'm a Christian, and what I incredibly have discovered is that many non-Christians experience that we believers have accomplished the international a disservice with the help of no longer exhibiting like to others no count what faith. properly they're stunning. Christians seem to have issues backwards. incredibly of finding at what Christ did many determine to condemn different religions. are not getting me incorrect, i do no longer trust them, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that interior the bible Jesus enjoyed all who walked the Earth. He did no longer discriminate against others via fact they have been in yet another team or faith. He sought out to be a help and serve the lowly, he went to lepers, and others who have been undesirable and broken. He became a servant of God. and that i think that's what we Christians are lacking. we're not serving others. We look closed off from others that the effectiveness to love and witness is closed off. i do no longer trust different religions in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it does no longer advise i'm no longer meant to love them as human beings, via fact Christ did a similar. John 3:sixteen says, For God so enjoyed the international that he sent his in basic terms begotten son, that whosoever shall have self belief in him, won't perish yet have eternal existence. meaning Christ died for every person, no longer in basic terms Christians. All, he died for all, and enjoyed and nevertheless loves anybody, and that i could do comparable to a Christian no count what faith you're aside of..

As soon as churches stop blasheming the word, and everyone realizes that the "Holy Spirit" is your soul. Accept it and Know that you have eternal life! When you are sure of that, you can clearly understand that the Trinity unites your soul with Christ and God. Then people could understand the precepts of the Bible better.
