Christians tell me that they feel God's presence all around them. Then right after that they tell me that God is desperately trying to get my attention. Well it sure doesn't seem like he is trying to get my attention. If he was desperately trying to get my attention, wouldn't he be standing in the sky waving his arms screaming, "Hey #$%HOLE, I'm right here, you believe in me now"???? Thats what I do when I try desperately to get someones attention. They also claim that they talk to God regularly. Does he talk back????? What does he say to you?????? Whats his voice sound like????

GOD speaks to me. GOD has spoken to me. I have seen the face of GOD. We all should be seeking the face of GOD. If i could gaze upon the face of the LORD for all eternity that would be TRUE BLISS.

You can't hurry LOVE . .. pursue LOVE . .. go to Mass everyday and seek JESUS in the HOLY EUCHARIST . .. JESUS is present at every Catholic Mass BODY, BLOOD, SOUL, AND DIVINITY. Go to confession, pray, purge yourself of sin. And soon . .. before you realize it . .. you will be with the LORD in PARADISE.

Who of us has but a short time on Earth? We are pilgrams on our way to the promised land. The promised land is in HEAVEN. There we will reside with THE LORD FOREVER in HIS presence. We will sit before THE LORD and shall want for nothing.

-LOVE your neighbor as yourself
Amen.

All the time, but I don't always pay attention. God prefers the "still, small voice" to shouting,it seems to me.

I don't get "locutions",literal vocal hearings of a voice from God or heaven. I have never had a prayer unanwered, though sometimes it's "No","Wait" or "Keep looking".

If I were God I would make it impossible to avoid me,but God honors free will so much that He speaks through nature, other people, our consciences and His Incarnation,His Church and His Oral and Written Word.

God's physical presence is not at this time available to us. So if you're expecting a rock concert, forget it.

Talking to God = prayer

Does God answer prayers? All the time by helping your problem to go away, etc.

Do you hear God's voice? If you hear it audibly, you need a psych.

Sometimes, though, when I'm praying, I make a realization that wasn't clear to me before. Sometimes when I'm about to buy something, I feel really bad inside. Sometimes I'm watching a situation, and I'm moved to help. To say I feel God's presence, to me is to feel peace. Whatever you're doing is right, and God is happy. Reading the Bible is a straight pipeline from God to us. Everything He is and everything He wants to tell us is right here.

This is the way I communicate with God, but it will never happen to you unless you believe. If you need help with that...I'd be happy to help out.

God speaks without words. But He get's His point across. Only most people don't know it's God talking to them. Like when I prayed about going back to college this fall and the school skrewed up my courses so bad that my schedule didn't even end up to be doable for me. That was the Lord saying no I shouldn't go back.

Wow, can you believe some of the nutty responses to this question. The funny thing is that no one really answered it. Everyone knows that there is no god, some people just have a hard time accepting this fact so they invent ridiculous things to delude themselves.
Yummy, do you really think that God made the school screw up your schedule so that you wouldn't go back? If he can answer your prayer, one coming from a person obviously affluent enough to attend college, where is the answered prayer for something to eat by the starving African baby?
You people amaze me.

Maybe you just don't know how to listen to God. Just what got you to ask an anonymous multitude about God? What have you heard so far? The signs are all around you. Good luck and don't worry. God is heard whether you know it or not.

its not like you are going to hear him like you would hear your friends. it is hard to tell you unless you believe. i do hear him. i look at like a premaniton. i was driving my car and not paying attention at the moment something said look. i looked up and a mattress was in the middle of the road. to my left was the median and to the right an 18 wheeler. i don't know how i went just between the matress without hitting the rig. another incident was a lady was running in the interstate. i was reading something again said look up. my husband did not see her. i yelled look out a lady is in the road. we had just missed hitting her as did the guy in front of us. more here you go. a guy was driving next to us and again i was reading something again got me to look up as he was swerving into our lane within arms reach. i warned my husband and he swerved away from the guy. more here you go. when we are working and my husband can not figure out a solution someting tells me how to fix it and i tell him and it works. you have to have an open mind and heart to really know he is giving you those thoughts. you can not always do it on your own. i have more things to share. sure you had enough. wish you best. and no you don't hear his voice it is kinda like your own he gives you the thought. best wishes for you in life. oh just one more. i was looking for my new ID card. i could not find it any where. i missed going to casino. must have not meant to be. one day is was sitting at my desk. in my head i was thinking i need this ID where is it. something told me under the bed. i thought no i looked there. i ignored it and at that moment my dog casey went under the bed and was wagging her tail. i go to look and at her nose was my ID card. oh yeah here you go this one is good. something was telling me my cat was having babies. i went look and she did. one was alone and cold so i saved it's life. the other two were together and fine. the cold one the mom just was too tierd to care for it and left to lay down and rest. i had to cut the chord and warm it up. so if i would not have gotten up and went look the kitten would have died. there you go is that enough for you. GOD or what ever people may want to think is watching us and helps at the moment of need. he just does not give you what you want if it is not necessary.

It's their "faith" ingrained in them from their societies. It's hard to break away from a norm that has been going on for hundreds of years. Back in the medieval times, if you didn't "believe" then you would be killed. Now if you don't believe, depending on where you live, you will be considered an outcast or "strange". Where I live, it doesn't matter, and it doesn't matter to my family either. As long as I am living the life I want to and do my best.
