I am making chicken which I have stuffed with sausage - and Im cooking it in the oven. What should I put on it? BBQ? Lemon pepper sauce? Should I leave it plain? I dont have very many sauces or spices but what sounds good?

Chicken stuffed with sausage is a southern girl's dream!! Make a white or sausage gravy using a tablespoon of drippings from the chicken, then thicken with flour & add milk to desired consistency. Serve with homemade biscuits, fresh mashed potatos, baby peas & coleslaw.....Finish things off light with pound cake & fresh berries or ice cold watermelon!!

I would just rub the outside with some olive oil, crushed garlic and black pepper - perfect with the sausage stuffing!

Well, chicken goes well with honey mustard, but I don't know about sausage. How about pasta sauce? You could have Chicken & Sausage Parmesan!

I would go with a tomato type sauce. Maybe on a bed of spaghetti. Good luck.

nothing...thats a lot of flavors put together and u dont wanna ruin the dishwith too much sauce
