The last war China was in was in the late 70's
It lasted a month
China is no more interested in a nuclear exchange then you are.
Where China will win and is winning now is in the market place.
That can be controlled, war can not.
China is a hell of a lot smarter then you think
What most people know of China would fit in a thimble, what most people THINK they know of China would fit in a barrel.
Signed, an ex pat living in the heart of China
Peace
Jim

China's military growth with ill intent? I doubt China will declare war with the US. The two countries depends on each other for economic stability. IF there is a war, it will be one expensive war and millions of people will die. Majority of the countries will have hidden agendas and try to be as discreet as possible. I am sure the US have a long list of hidden agendas. Look at it this way, as the SUPERPOWER of the world, do you really think they need to release these informations to the public? Throughout history, statistically, the countries with the best technology are the most successful. Best technology will lead to best weaponry, best weaponry will dominate. The US have lots of advanced weaponry that are very confidential and have no intent to release the information to its own people or other countries. And vice versa with China.

Ever since the Cold War China has been Americas friendly enemy.
Allying itself with Americas enemies such as Iran and N Korea, making treatys and such which make them damn near impossible to attack, but at the same time being cordial and standoffish

China isn't doing what they're doing (huge military and industrial build up) to be friends with us. Sooner than later we'll butt heads over energy and push will come to shove.
