Military people in general (well, maybe not Air Farce) curse more than the general public.

You don't have to worry about offending people's sensibilities in the military.

it has all turned sissy now. If you say "damn," you had better be talking about a hydroelectric plant.

I had not been on a ship in 30 years when I took a ride on an LHA and no one on there knew what a blivet was, much less a scrudgeon. I could not understand how you could get a ship underway without swearing.

We even cussed the captain out to his face when he did something stupid like letting the lines go in the wrong order and setting the windlass against the #1 line making it so taut that it began to make sounds like a rifle and started smoking. If he had not been stopped, that would have killed everyone on the bow.

I'm in the Navy DEP(delayed entry program) in Canton,Ohio. My recruiter doesn't cuss at all but he's a laid back, religious, cool type of guy. On the other hand, the other recruiters and Chief cuss their Asses' off. It's understandable though, they have a tough job.

I would cuss a lot if I were a sailor. I cuss a lot now, and I'm not even NEAR a boat. I cussed when I saw you didn't know how to spell "a lot".

I tell you what INFANTRY cuss the most out of any organization or group in the world even the gangster homies and their clicks. I worked with a ex-navy who went army infantry as an E-5 and he is always saying how vile and rude we all are. Hooah, were grunts!

Military, in general will use more swearing than the average individual.
It seems the more ground pounding you do the more you the ******* ***** swearing you actually do. **** ********* and ****** those ******, stupid, little ****.
I've known sergeants whose entire sentence was along the lines of "F-ing listen the F up, No more ****-bricking during the G-dam, afternoon, I'm not taking anymore F-ing flak for stupid **** that you c**k suckers know better."
I see it as more as a way to emphasize that you're serious.
The militaries only ocassional censorship is when it's trying to appease the political correct assholes. Such as, "we're getting a female in our unit, no calling each other pu**ies until we know she's not going to MEO for it"

I was navy for 8 years and with all the cuss words. The F bomb is the worst, it can come out everyother word. Along with your mom jokes, and if your a man, showing your balls to the unsuspecting person saying hey "you" look at this..........

like everyone else it all depends on the particular sailor. the navy is turning into the kinder gentler navy so now they actually have to be careful about what they say because they can actually get into real big trouble about little things.
