So i was late to work today, so i rushed, and forgot to eat breakfast, which has included coffee for the past 5 years.

so now, i have a terrible headache, and my eyes hurt from the headache.

I ate, but did not have any caffeinne today.

I got home, and had some tea, since it has some caffeinne,
then i took 2 aspirins, and 3 Ibuprofens.
10 mins later i had a coca-cola and a tylenol.

and now i'm on my 6th cup of coffee.

is this healthy???

I drink about a cup of coffee a day,
but since my headache was really bad today,
i drank a lot to make it go away.

and since my body is so used to coffee, it actually helps me go to sleep.

there are no proven signs that caffiene is bad for you, unless you have a heart problem. caffiene is actually a good stimulant for metabolism raising and focusing. however, it can make you hyper. caffiene does have a nasty withdraw, severe headaches, and sometimes nausea. When you have missed yout normal daily dosage, just take an ibruprofen, and drink something high;y caffienated. If this has scared you, and you want to cut back, just slowly cut back your intake. you may have a headache or two for a day or two, but they will go away.

As you know, coffee is addictive and not having it can cause a type of withdrawal. I would suggest that you go from your 6 cups to 5 and then to four and so on. It is not only an addition but a simple habit. Anything you do for 29 days in a row will become a habit. In saying this, try to curtail your caffeinne addiction by slowly deminishing the amounts that you drink.

You may substitute decaffinated coffee for one of you cups, hense the habit, and you may be able to go down to only one cup or even none at all.

I surmise that your work has something to do with your urges to drink so much coffee. I do not know if it is because you are sleepy or that you use it to be effecient at your job. In either case, you indicate you drink a pot of coffee a day. I would ask how that affects your sleep patterns, but you did not mention that.

Is it healthy? I am not a doctor but used to drink my share of coffee in my commute to work and during work. Somehow I just stopped. I think it would elevate your heart rate and blood pressure, as well as perhaps making you nervous and anxious. Caffine is a drug, but not one that you cannot command. I recommend you tapering down on it and not relying upon it for whatever reason you use it for.

I'm not saying not to drink coffee, but to use it in moderation. If you do not, you may suffer other physical and mental problems that you might not find gratifying.

Water! Water is the answer! Your diet is so messed up! don't think that you are not going to have some serious health issues sooner or later. You can't treat your body like that! You should change your diet and stop drink abusive coffee and soda, There will be withdraw symptoms for a few months but your body will thank you later!

The withdrawal of the caffeine in coffee is headaches as your first answer said. It is better to cut down on the coffee or replace some of it with the decaf coffee. Good Luck.

Surely not. Was this the first time you didn't have breakfast, since you started drinking coffee every morning? Well, sometimes I don't have time to have breakfast and get headaches too. In my case, it's not because of lack of caffeinne, but because our body gets tired , because it is weaker...

As yummy as coffee is, it really isn't that healthy. =( I LOVE coffee, but couldn't stand the headaches and tummy-aches from it... now I save it for a 'special event' or a super tired day. But I soo miss it!

No,
Stop it or tomorrow you'll feel even worse after withdrawing from the amount of caffeine you just had. That is, if you're able to sleep at all.

You took too many pills. 3 ibprofiens were enough for 6 hours. You drank too much caffine too.

no, it is not healthy but it is typical. once your body is addicted to caffeine it is a hard habit to break. try to ween yourself off by drink one less cup of coffe a day.
