Sorry, but the story of Noah's flood is more than just exaggerated. If you had very limited knowledge of the world, and you were in a flood that as far as you could see was water, then you would think the whole world is flooded. ...well, it IS YOUR world that is flooded, not the whole world. There isn't enough water on Earth to put the entire world under water. Nice story, cute ending...sort of Hollywood, isn't it?

I dunno, but I heard this cool theory that a massive hydrogen ejection from Saturn collided with our planet and combined with the oxygen that was in our atmosphere. That's why people lived a lot longer back in the day (or maybe the Earth revolved around the Sun faster then, I don't know). I do know that there used to be a lot more oxygen in the atmosphere back in the day. Scientists have tested air bubbles trapped in sap and ice core samples from the antarctic, and I think the Talmud talks about the light of seven days and a commotion in the Heavens right before the flood. Oh well... too lazy to check.
The bottom line is that we really have no clue how our planet and solar system really work. I mean they still haven't figured out gravity, lightning or tornadoes yet, so come on. Anything is still possible, especially a great flood that the ENTIRE world talks about.

Skittles. An underground ocean full of rainbow colored Skittles caused the flood. It was a Skittle flood. Really. Scientists have proven this beyond any doubt. Look it up.

No, the Genesis account implies that waters dwelt above the surface of the earth and these waters flooded the earth via rain.

I think it came from the rain that God unleashed upon the Earth. because before that the water only came up from the ground to water the plants. This was the first rainfall.
Quite the storm 40 days and 40 nights. There was reports of flooding everywhere.lol

There was believed to be a sort of atmosphere above the current atmosphere we have now that was believed to be water- and from the depths of the earth. The theory of water being above the atmosphere would explain why people had such a long lifespan becuase the earth was like a hyperbaric chamber.

Where do you people get this stuff.
You know when you are at 30,000 feet in a commercial jet? To cover Everest that is about how deep you are talking. Still think it makes any sense at all?
