They will taste SO much better if you fry them.
You CAN fry them like "regular" flour-based pancakes, but a lot of the crispness is lost.

Frying is better for the taste. That's already been said enough, but while different people have mentioned topping with either apple sauce or sour cream, I think the best (and most traditional way) is to top with both.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Spoon potatoes into skillet and cook as you would pancakes, for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.

coat oven proof dish well with peanut oil pour in batter and drizzle top with a little more peanut oil bake in middle of moderately hot oven 375-400 degrees or until brown and crispy on all sides.

Yes you can pour them into a pan cake grill. Or put them on a cookie sheet and put them in the oven.you can also make fish cake the same way. chop up a onion and you cab add a vegs with them like sweet peas. use Pam the one with butter favor. you will find it easy and it won't made a mess

i've had better results frying them in oil. but if you use just a little bit of oil and make sure to drain them well, maybe that'll make a difference?

use just a little olive oil and they will come out better than using PAM, and besides what the heck is PAM made out of anyway. It can't be good for you

fry them and also add sour cream when they are finished frying they are so good . my hubby does not care for them but i love them .
