You don't think the pot needs to be stirred?

I'm actually hoping that some of these questions fall under that category.
Like the one I just answered asking if Pagans believed Lord of the Rings was real. Or the one yesterday ranting that nobody can change his mind so there, but here's a simpler version of his other (non) question. Or even the one from a (supposedly) Catholic woman whose fiance couldn't marry her because his grandfather a priest said it was a sin. (read carefully, I missed it the first 2 times around)
However, it isn't the intent of the questions that interests me. It is getting different views out there and a real exchange of ideas. Some of us will come away newly refreshed and strengthened in their beliefs. Some will actually begin to see differently. Some will get the acid out of their system and, hopefully, go on to be productive members of society.

I stir the pot, because most good answers on the subject of religion, and spirituality are buried deep in a person. Many people, religous or otherwise behave like parrots, and mimic real thought rather than answering what they really believe, deep down. I'll give you an example;

WHO CARES???
Goodness gracious, you people really need to get over yourselves. It takes all types to make the world go round. Just because you disagree with me, and I disagree with you, doesn't make either of our philosophies gospel.
A little controversey is always good. It makes people WAKE UP and think.
Feel free to block me now. If you haven't already. Afterall, anyone who thinks differently than you (not you in particular) is a "Troll".

That's the beauty of politics and religion... people are so passionate about the subjects that it's easy to get a rise out of them!

it seems that way these days, but at the same time, some questions may be asked in earnest, and really piss people off.
the more important question to ask is, do people always answer questions with really mean responses for the same purpose?

OH sure, some even pretend to be Christians till they write to you. and yes they keep the pot stirred, not hot we would like it, BUT, its still ok. as long as the pot is being stirred up, it wont go stale quickly hey. If we have them on here een being silly, maybe one will hear something that sticks and will run to God. Thats my hope and prayer. How about you??
