This is not a provocative question, nor am I questioning anyone's beliefs. I am just wondering, if you believe in the events mentioned in the Bible, about how God punished the pharaoh giving disease, rain etc, about how he punished Sodoma and Gomorrha with flood, the story of Noah, etc., wouldn't you consider that God is definitely angry with us today, if you look at the huge floods, extreme weather disasters etc.?

Oh, one more thing: if He is angry, how do some people who are very attached to religion take it for granted that He approves of whate they do, like wars, etc.? and I include both Bush and his supporters and Islamists in this category.

Well first I would like to say God is not angry, there is a reason for everything he does. Wars are the creation of man. The evil deed of others in not accepted by Allah. If the war is legit, an attack on Islam, a direct one.. then it is acceptable as any religion or country attacked would be. Why are you throwing Muslims in a category? We don't support Bush and we don't support terrorism. Those who do are hypocrites. A lot of things Allah does , he knows what is best. A lot of the things are also signs of the day of judgment. All the biblical stories you mentioned, all happened for a reason. With Noah, it was to show the signs to the people. Those who didn't believe drowned.
Allah only guides through his signs. His anger will be shown when everyone is being judged for their deeds, and people are shown their place in heaven/hell.

Yes. And as the world miss-uses His creation. The re-moving of God from any Country or King's methodology of ruling has brought great disaster to that rule or country. The homosexual priests and child abusive Priests have to give God such a wrath that is storing up for their judgment.
All the weather events that have happened over the past 5 years is incredible and was predicted by the bible. These are called the birthing pains that the world is going to go through to mark the return of The Lord Jesus.
For some ( believers) it is a great day, and for others it will be to late to look up in the sky and see Jesus and say I believe. It takes faith and seeing is to late for believing.
Make your calling and election sure. 2 Peter 1:10

Jesus is coming...and Boy is he Pissed. No God is not happy with the current world situation which is just about where the world was in Noah's time. However God is allowing the world events to unfold the way they are and YES there is a warning for anyone who is awake in every one of those events. Why would God allow these things to happen? He must allow the satanists to create their precious "New World Order" led by the Anti-Christ to prove to those fools once and for all they are powerless. The universe will soon be purged of evil (no more Bush family) but not before things get much worse.

Most defiantly angry. But consider His anger for a moment. You know he keeps giving us more chances more time because just like a Father with an errant child He loves them and wishes they would repent and obey rather than punish them.
The time is coming though when we will push Him go far and he will whoop our hind end.
This also explains you "If God is ....(fill in you attribute you don't believe in) why is there suffering" freaks, He may forgive sin, He may love you so much that He continues to bear your iniquity but you know what if He tells you don't stick your hand in the fire and you do it anyway and get burned.. It wasn't because he didn't warn you or love you its because you're an idiot. Do innocents get hurt.. Yep How come.. Look at yourself in the mirror and realize this YOU DO NOT LIVE IN A VACUUM What you do effects everyone around you and the effect ripples outward to the entirety of the earth.

Often many seem to look at God as all anger or all love. The fact is God is both, He is a loving God, but also a God of justice.
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. - Psalm 30:5.

Ya.. i'm pretty much positive He is... very few people actually follow Him properly. Alot of Christians think they are doin it right but they are far off including Fundies... they are taking it too far in His name and the rest of the world is lost in the commotion of what is truly right and what most of humanity believes to be "right" which is usually far from it.

I'm betting he is.
I know many have problems believing in a God like this, but please remember, he knows all and knows that he will give you another chance to live and accept him when the sway of satan's evil way is no more.
