My eyes have been looking increasingly bloodshot since I got contact lenses (almost 3 years ago). For school I put my contacts in at about 7 in the morning to about 4 in the afternoon, and by the time I take out my lenses, the blood vessels in the corners of my eyes are redder and look bigger. My eyes also feel a little dry by the time I take out the lenses. My contact solution is Alcon Opti-Free Express. Is there any way I can fix/reverse this bizarre behavior in my eyes? Please help!

How old are your contact lenses? If bloodshot since you got them, have you returned to your fitter for assessment?

Could be dirty lenses, solution sensitivity, allergies, dry eye, poor fitting contact lenses, old lenses. Time to see your eye doctor or contact lens fitter.

I do not know whether it is totally true or not but it does affect a bit on the result.

Keep them from drying out with re-wetting drops, and there is also a new gel contact solution to put them in overnight. I am not sure what its called, but it's supposed to work well.
