Isn't gay marriage supposed to cheapen the institution of marriage?

I don't see how gays getting hitched could make my marriage any worse then it is. I think they have the obligation to be as miserable as the rest of us.

This is probably an issue I shouldn't touch but from what I have experience in life, my only words would be, there can be no offspring unless they choose to be with the opposite sex, or have a surrogate father/mother or adopt. Then it may have the love and guidance of both parents but only the blood of one. Hey but who knows, we are so advanced in science, someone will find a way to fuse DNA together and fertilizes the seeds. The future will definitely be interesting if we can stop each other from pushing the button.

Somewhere, out there, 10,000 Christian heads have just exploded.

I look forward to the day when this is accepted as being as normal as a wedding between a man and a woman.
For the moment this is something that just brings a smile to my jaded, cynical face.

So far for you maybe, reverend, but we won't have long to wait.

The whole right-to-referendum has been overturned in MA and little public school children are being indoctrinated that "gay marriages are no different than straight" and traditional marriage propnents are banned from speaking in schools.

I 'd say that apart of the sky has fallen in MA.

God doesnt have anything to do with those weddings. Reminds me of what the bible says about the says of Noah before the flood came upon them suddenly, thats what it will be like when the Son of Man comes back.....they will answer for it at the judgement.

Obviously some sort of end to the universe must be near. That's the only possible explanation.

I too am married and my life hasn't even been vaguely effected.

I was going to get married and have some good Christian children, but when they legalized gay marriage, I decided instead to become an atheist, have sex with animals, eat babies, and betray the United States.

I also stopped my string of buying every product Apple introduced. How is the iPhone, anyway?

Massachusetts is wise in that social aspect and no it has not affected heterosexual relationships one bit. Nor has it affected people, like myself, in neighboring states.

I proudly stood up for my friend who lives in Mass when he married his partner of 20 years.

Homosexual marriage is not a catastrophe for society. It is merely a corruption of the English language. I have no objections to civil unions.
