I am only 5'1 and my boyfriend is above average height - probably like 6'2 (aka a head or taller than me). I this weird? Do you think he's bothered by how short I am?

I don't think it's weird...but then again I'm 5'10 and my fiance is 5'7, I don't think he's bothered by it, my fiance said that he's always liked tall women, and doesn't care if people think we look weird together.
My dad was 6'8 and he always liked shorter women (both of his wives were about 5'6) Also my cousin is 6'4 and his wife is 5'1 like you are. He doesn't care, and it doesn't bother him at all that his wife is much shorter.
If you're worried about it you could ask him, but seriously, most of the tall people I knowreally aren't worried about the height of our significant other. :)

You're too tall. I am 6'2-3" (depending on time of day) and my wife is 5'0" It doesn't bug me. There are problems of course - when we redid our kitchen we lowered the cabinets to 15.5" inches from the counter (just clear the Kitchen Aide mixer) and put in extra tall cabinets - she mostly accesses the lower shelves and I the upper. Same kind of thing with over and under ovens.

I think your height difference is fine and he probably loves it. A guy likes to feel like he can protect his girl. A lot of guys LOVE short woman. There is a term for it but I cant bear to type it here! I'm sure he loves it.

It would be different if he was the shorter one in the relationship. If it bothered him he wouldn't be dating you in the first place. If it bothers you a lot just wear heels. I can't wear heels because I would end up taller than my husband, take it to your advantage girl... Don't stress about small things.

Well I guess it would be quite awkward at first but I'm sure you can get used to it. if you really like this guy and he likes you back don't let a stupid thing like height mess it up...and just invest in some 8'' heels!

If it bothered him he wouldn't be with you. I'm a tall women, 5'8.5 to be exact, before I got married, short guys would hit on me all the time. I would see all the tall guys with short women like yourself. You probably keep on 6 inch stiletoes anyway!

I am only 5 foot tall and my ex-bf was a good 6"3. he had absolutely no problem bending down to hug me or kiss me. it doesnt look weird and it isnt weird. Trust me guys like it when they are taller and bigger than their girls. they feel like they can protect them lol.

No I doubt it if it were a concern he never would have been your BF to begin with. No I dont think that it is a problem, most guys prefer it that way i think. I think guys only have a problem if they are shorter than the girl.
