I've had pets throughout my life and my mom has always been an excellent example of how to train them. Cats are pretty simple, they tend to pick up on things quick and retain them. One of the most effective and humane techniques I believe in is the spray bottle method -- have one around the house at all times, and when your kitty bites you, hold his head, spray some water into his face, look into his eyes and say "no" in a firm tone of voice. He'll probably get embarrassed or surprised and run away, but cats hate this and they don't want to engage in behaviors that bring it upon them. In my experience this has been pretty successful in eradicating unacceptable behaviors. The trick is to do it right then and there. Scolding an animal even 30 seconds or a minute later just confuses them. I think if you employ this tactic you might find some good results in a relatively short time.
And remember, kittens are just so playful and rambunctious - he's just showing he loves to interact with you! But it is definitely worth putting in that time now to make sure it doesn't become a part of his adult personality. My cat bites like a mad man -- love him to death, but god, it hurts.
I hope this might help! Good luck!

That is normal. When the kitten bites you tell it no in a stern voice and go wash where the kitten bit you hard enough to break the skin. Cats claws carry tons of bacteria and dirt. You van get an infection or cat scratch fever. Keep an eye on your wound if it starts looking like it is infected, call your doctor for an appointment immediately.

Sometimes they do that, especially if they have been separated by their brothers too early, but you must not let them, because then it gets worse once they have adult teeth. Don't play rough with her, don't respond to her biting in any way, not even beating her or screaming, this only makes it more fun for her. Show that you are not pleased, grab her from the neck and put her on another play, it is important to give her an alternative.

i'm concerned...if you have any swelling above normal and-or pain you need to get to your doctor or the emengency room right away. my oldest cat bit my hand almost a year ago and with in 12 hrs i was admitted into the hospital with an infection. had surgery, physical therapy, and still don't have complete use of index finger. dr's and surgeon said if i had waited another 12 hrs i would have lost my finger. 1 hr after getting to hartford hospital i was hooked up to intraveinous antibiotics. no joke. i did not have to wait in the emergency room at all. took me right in. please get checked by your dr. the cats mouth is the dirtiest place on them. for your kitten try introducing her to cardboard boxes. perhaps teething? good luck and take my advice for yourself.

Yes, it is a kitten. When they are younger they don't quite know they're strength and are extremely playfull.
Just like the people answered in your last question about this.. It is normal. You can teach him not to but it takes time.

i would think they are teething. invest in some bitter apple i think thats what its called and when your playing with her spray some lightly on your skin it shouldent irratate your skin at all but they hate the smell and the taste do that for a week the kitten should learn and stop. you dont want it doing that when its older with big teeth.

You shouldnt be letting her use parts of your body as a toy anyway. Invest in some cat toys and praise her when she uses them.

Don't put yourself into the position of being bit. Hiss at the kitten and put her down roughly. Use toys and don't allow your hands to be the toy.

Get your kitty some toys. You shouldn't let any pet use your hand as something to play with.
