religion gives some people the strenth to get through, weed does the same thing for my little brother..as a matter of fact sometimes he get's really really high and thinks he's religious for a second. Why is one legal and the other not?

Weed hasn't ever killed anyone. Can you say that about religion. I don't remember weed ever making get the urge to crash a plane into a building.

Religion is legal because it an idea, weed is illegal because the government cant tax it.
Suzi B, the government cant get their hands on it and sell it, Weed can be grown in your back yard and sold without a tax on the streets. Thats why its illegal
Wayne T, I disagree, Weed can be used to stunt lukemia cells in Cancer. Thats why its legal for doctors to give it to certain patients.

Just think of the profit the government could make if the government was the only ones allowed to sell it.
Yea, I think it should be legal. You get more time in jail now for weed than you do for drunk driving and killing someone in the process.

Weed is a very unique and sometimes spiritual experience. The government makes way too big of a deal over it.

Yes weed should be legal. If it makes sick people better and it's better for you then smoking tobacco. There seems to be no harm in it.
