It is based on weight and shape. You can go to USPS.com and look up the cost. You will need a customs form too.

well since it is a package that is leaving the country you must take it to the post office, fill in a customs form, the clerk must place it on the package and then you must verbally verify that there is nothing fragile, illegal, perishable or dangerous. Then they will place the package on the scale look up the zip code and figure out the price that way. So I would wait on the postage until you go to the post office. Also the method of shipment must be considered: air, priority, or ground. ground is the cheapest and will take 7-10 business days on average. air does cost the most and takes usually 2-3 days. another thing to keep in mind is the value of what is being sent. the more it is to more it can cost to send. I only say this because anything over a certain amount is strongly recommended to be insured.
a 5 pound package to germany from the us costs 10.40. a package to japan runs about 15 for the same weight.
I hope this helps.

Well, it all depends on the weight and size of the package. You can go to http://ircalc.usps.gov/ and fill in the values in the boxes/drop down menus to figure out how much you will need to pay. You can print your postage online too, but you'll need to get a customs form from the Post Office if mailing packages overseas, hope this all helps you out.

Go to http://ircalc.usps.gov/ for the rates. It depends on weight and is not a number of stamps but a dollar amount.

in the united kingdom we don't deal in numbers of stamps, yet in the actually cost of the article, it is desperate via its weight. The post place of work will weigh it for you and sell you the stamps you go with.

You should go to the postoffice, they can tell you and it also depends if you want to send it by air or not.
