G-d created the world. To say that there is an evil force controling the world means that either G-d is not perfect and all powerful or that G-d is evil. A point that is missed by many when they claim that Satan has dominion over them and the world.
I do not believe in Satan that Christians believe in.
I believe the evil in the world is caused by other humans. We create our own evil - our own suffering. Only when people stop inflicting pain upon each other will the existence of evil cease.

No I do not believe satan is real. There is no 'evil force' that controls the world... the evil in the world is created and maintained by human choice.

Yes I do, but I believe it in the Jewish sense. For Jews, anything that even remotely conflicts with the idea that God is One and Indivisible will be rejected because it precludes true, pure, monotheism. The idea that there is a God in heaven above who fights against a god of the underworld, or hell, is not monotheism, however, it is the same duality found in other pagan faiths. The Bible speaks of a character known as The Satan, who acts like a prosecuting attorney, or a district attorney, in God's court. However, The Satan has no power or authority in and of himself, rather he must get permission from the Judge, God, to do anything.

and he controls the world by controling humans..
say for instance ur a very good .. kind.. caring person... and then u start doing drugs. then u start not caring for anybody.. and its very hard to go back to the person u wer, because satan is inside u, it is the bad side of u, once some of it comes out, it starts all coming out and taking control

ya as the guy said... there are people actually worshipping satan.. and the worshipping of satan started in babylon.. read about the wicca, it all started in babylon (south baghdad, iraq) as they have the biggest temple for satan over there.. which wqas sealed by some "religious" people... thats what ive heard

Satan is Alive and Well on this Planet Earth! The Scriptures Tell us He is Here to Kill, Steal, and Destroy! and He Scours around like a Lion, seeing whom He May Devour! We have Power OVER him tho, Thru the Blood of Jesus! " His Head is Under our Heels, says God." Oh, by the way, Did You Know that He Knows what A waits Him? Yes. I believe he is in everything and everywhere around us and in our hearts. He is the very temptation of sin. The fallen angel. The one that got away. I don't believe he can be controlled. I believe he belongs to a deep, dark magic; deeper than any one member or occult of mankind could ever imagine; i believe some people follow him, without knowing it and others steer clear subconsciously..i know the picture we have built of him is of this giant red monster with red horns, naked and a little kinky, carrying a pitch fork; but i don't believe that's him at all..i believe he's more of a damaged child; a ghost that could never quite rest in peace..(And i don't even consider myself as a proper Christian..)..

Satan is real for those who accept the reality of Good and Bad.
people don't want to believe in the devil, because they will have to accept God is Real, you know.

I believe in the reality and personality of Satan, The Devil; and that he was created by God an angel but through pride and rebellion became the enemy of his Creator; that he became the unholy god of this age and the ruler of all the powers of darkness and is destined to the judgment of an eternal justice in the lake of fire (Matt. 4:1-11; 2 Cor. 4:4; Rev. 20:10).

Satan is in the bible and satan wanted what God has, and wants to keep us from the Lord. YES, I know there is satan. Satan lurks in many corners in our lives and we must know what path we are on to fight the forces of evil. Put on our breast plate and armor and be ready for all. God is our refuge and strength and we already know we will win over satan. I think if all people look to the Lord satan will really lose his grip. it is lack of God in our lives that keep evil alive.

First of all their is a God and a devil, a Heaven and a Hell. We are put on this earth for a purpose. we can do good and evil, everyone will be judged in the end. The world has suffering because we are not in a perfect place like heaven, we have to earn our place to get there.. Where no one is perfect we all do bad things sometimes, we have to live a decent life, repent of our sins. Man suffers because of his actions he/she has a choice to serve God or the devil. If you want to believe in just God and you can do anything you want with no consequences, that will lead to a very lot of evil. A loving God does not send good people to hell, only the bad ones like Hitler, Jack the Ripper,ETC.
