There is quite a simple check you can make to decide right from wrong. Ask yourself: does it harm to anyone? If yes, it is wrong. If no, it is right. No god needed for this simple one.

Ethics and religion are only very loosely linked. It is quite easy to develop a system of ethics based on the principles of giving pleasure and avoiding giving pain to others. All the wrong acts you list above are based on those principles without any need to bring God into the equation. Actions that are based on such a system strengthen families and communities and increase the well being of all individuals. Wrong acts such as lying, cheating and violence have the opposite effects. It has always been so, long before the Bible was written and in all the cultures that do not believe in or have never even heard of the bible.

Anything on your list is something that brings pain to another person, or a group of people. THAT'S how we know it's wrong.
If you were going to use the Bible alone to decide what is right and wrong, then stoning kids to death for disrespecting their parents would be OK. Owning slaves would not only be OK, but it would be considered evil if the slaves had a problem with that! Putting people to death for working on the sabbath would be OK. Putting non-believers to death, dashing their babies to pieces, and ripping open their pregnant women with swords would be encouraged. The list goes on and on. The Bible is anything but an example of morality. In fact, you yourself believe that things that are encouraged by the Bible are not OK. That tells me that somewhere, deep down inside, even you know how to think for yourself just a little bit.

when you hurt some one intentionally it is definitely wrong, when you lie cheat and murder steal and adultry is hurting some one else and that is wrong, not only the bible or christianity tells you it but all religions preach it, not only religion preaches but laws laid down by all countries recognise that it is wrong, why do you want to change a belief system, then there would be crime and caos all over we have enough of crime already violence is already on the rampage dont think of doing away with a belief system or wait for judgement day cause who knows when that is

My children know nothing of the Bible but know right from wrong. That's the point of your Genesis story, humans ate fruit from the tree of knowledge and became ashamed.
So even by your own religion one should know (if inclined to ponder the question) that all people have a conscious and know the difference between good and evil. With or without the bible telling them.

You were making sense until you decided that it had to be GOD.
And by the way, the Christian belief system has changed significantly over the years. Everything from ordination of women in some denominations to accepting homosexuality by other denominations.

Your God did all that in the Old Testament. Do you believe what he presents is right too then?
Kill Homosexuals
"If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives." (Leviticus 20:13 NAB)
Kill Nonbelievers
They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)
Laws of Rape (Deuteronomy 22:28-29 NLT)
If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.
Lies in the Bible
And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it. (John 14:13-14 NAB)
Slavery in the Bible
When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)

Everyone is born with the spirit of Christ so that they may know good from evil *
Everyone is born with a basic sense of good and evil. This is the spirit of Christ. This sense can be dulled as we give into temptation.
Although we can learn a lot from the scriptures, you are right, it would be asking too much to have to rely on ancient writings and nothing else to guide us. That is why God calls prophets, to help guide us in modern times and to help us to understand his will as it partains to the issues of our day.

You know because you just know. Its wired in. I don't need someone to tell me that murder is wrong because I have compassion and respect for life.
And BTW, if my wife ever gave me a free pass and was serious...look out!
So believing in the bible is a waste of time. That belief needs to change vefore we can move forward as a species.

If a belief system is healthy and functional, there is no need for it to change.
I don't follow your reasoning on why anything has to end. Things not changing is no reason for anything to end.
And I do not think things are wrong because I was told so. I think things are wrong when they cause harm to others.

To answer your first question. Anything that causes another person grief, or hard feelings, is bad. Anything that would tempt another person to do bad things, is bad. Anything that violates the Ten Commandments is bad.
If intervention by a higher power is necessary, then so be it.
God is creator of everything, and that does make sense to me.
