I love pizza with anchovies--EXTRA ANCHOVIES!! It gives the pizza an extra flavor to it that goes great with green peppers and onions/pepperonies and ham. I guess people dont like it because its "fish" on pizza. WHO CARES?!?! I promise that once you try it a couple times.. you'll began to like it. I love anchovies on pizza! Well, I love anchovies on crackers or right out of the can. There is a pizza place here that makes a anchovie pizza with a white garlic sauce that is great. Anchovies and garlic, what could be better?

Lots of people don't like the saltiness of anchovies. Next time you order pizza with others, have yourself some anchovies on the side so you can put them on your own slices.

I buy the fresh type of anchovy from my local supermarket in oil, not necessarily the tinned or if your American canned variety. I think they are just so good so no pile them on.

That's YOUR opinion. Everyone likes different things.
I don't not like anchovies on pizza because it's "fish on pizza". I just don't like anchovies because they taste fishy and super-salty. I don't like them, period.

Nothing is wrong with it. Some people don't like fish period. Some don't like the salty flavor. Some just prefer traditional when they think of pizza... you can eat fish elsewhere.
Personally, it is one of my favorite toppings!!
