I'm going to Dime's house! Seriously though, first I try to figure out what is stressing me and take some action to relieve that stress. For example, if I'm stressing because I have to do something I don't want to do, I will just do it and get it over with (dentist visits). Then, after I have tackled the problem making me stressed, I'll still be wound-up so then I can relax by eating ice cream, brush the dogs, clean the fish tanks, read, hot bath.....

Oh man finally a good question.
When I'm stressed, the best brain drain is vigorous exercise. Running. Sweating. All of that. I've tried meditation, reading, sleeping...and sleeping helps some but only if you're very tired. I say get the shoes on and sprint around the block a few times.
But that's just me, I know that everyone's not able to just throw running shoes on and go.

Running, walking, or any other kind of exercise really clears the mind and helps you level out. I highly recommend it for stress reduction!

I read a book now and then or your favorite magazine. You could always call up some friends to help you laugh and hang out.

Sit down and let everything be just as it is. Stress is generated by resisting what is. Logically, let it be.
