Well...it has more sugar than Wheaties type cereals...which can be converted to useless fat down the road. Most of the fat from cereal, however, comes from your choice in milk. Stick with 1% or skim for the least fat in a bowl of cereal. This applies to all cereal.

It doesn't add fat unless you eat that in addition to something you've already been eating. For example, if you've always eaten this cereal, you can keep eating it, and it won't add anything. Cereal in general is very low fat, so don't worry about it too much.

it's empty calories and eating enough can make you fat. find a cereal with some fiber, like cheerios. it comes in several flavors now.

In cereal you have to especially watch out for the sugar grams. and, if you use lowfat milk, even better!
