i'm not bad...

was wondering what it takes to go pro...b/c i don't know much about golf

what does being "really good" mean i.e. in basketball you have to be bout 6' 8" in hockey you have to do a lap around the rink in about 12 seconds etc

Practice, Practice, Practice. One you can regularly score under par for a round, you might stand a chance. However you need to work on the mental part of the game. Good Luck.

You have to put up with pressure that will kill most people.You need to drive 260+ straight off the box.Your irons have to be consistent within 3 yards of your target.You have to chip with in a bushel basket of the hole.And putt on greens that are like waxed concrete.Also you must go to qualifying school and get your card.And then be good enough to beat the worlds best with that pressure and the world watching.Its beyond tough and the guys you see are truly special.

You need to be able to play the most difficult course in the country and shoot 68 or better...four days in a row. Do this with the pressure of TV cameras and spectators watching your every move. If you can manage this...you'll be able to get your PGA card without too much difficulty. You'll still need to make it through Q school however.
