Open minded person
I think you are absolutely right. Hell and satan are just manifestations of fear which we project on to unworldly things. This makes people fear safe in a belief in God to protect them, but yet underneath is a lot of fear based beliefs, which is still fear.

I have a couple ideas, and they aren't mutually exclusive.
First, I believe the earth belongs to Satan. Remember when Jesus was in the desert for a long long time? Satan went to him and tried to get Jesus to deny God, or betray Him in some way. One of the things Satan offered was all the kingdoms and riches of earth. Satan would not offer that to Jesus if it was not his to give. Jesus would have known better. It would have been a stupid offer, Satan is not stupid.
Another idea is that Hell is simply separation from God.
The last idea I have is that when we cross over, we must watch and feel our entire time here on earth. We get to feel the pain we have caused others, and the pain that created for those who love the person we hurt, and so on like ripples in a lake. Now, take all that pain, can you really think of a worse hell? Think of Hitler...now there's some mighty pain. Also it's a lesson in what your actions can cause. It's not just a useless lesson in pain. It teaches. Think of the mass murderers and the special pain they cause to so many. What about the mass rapists...etc. Now that's Hell!
Blessed Be

Nothing is good or evil except that thinking makes it so.
This definition encompases your empath for your fellow humans.
Christians see the world full of evil, because they have a evil deity called Satan. This deity like any deity doesn't exist outside the human imagination and only has the powers that we associate with the symbolism assigned.
Drop the evil deity and it's powerless.
From what the Bible says the evil I see from Satan is purely a lawyer like ability to accuse people of various infractions against god. If you are bothered by this because you accuse other people of serving Satan and you're a Christian then perhaps you serve your own evil god.
Sorry just making an observation.

well the first part of your statement is true. People do suffer from their mistakes and they find it difficult to forgive themselves. This is a difficult thing to let go off. I wouldnt say that is Hell. The thing is we should not fear the Devil. The only person we should fear is God. The Devil does not own Hell and he is not presently dwelling there. Hell is not an actual person that is below the earth that you will go to when you die and burn forever. When God rains fire and brimstone down on the wicked, the wicked will burn to death. That is considered the everlasting fire because it will consume them forever.

Well, my believes are that people should not ever fear Saytan. They should be strong enough to withhold his temptations and try anyway to. I know we all make mistakes. The only thing in this world we should ever fear is GOD. God is all and who we should live for so why would we ever fear anything else?
When bad things happen to us we do think of it as hell bc we as humans have never experienced hell. We just compare bad to bad and thats why we say it. But their is nothing on this earth that can happen to us that is even the start of being as bad as hell so be thankful for that. When we get paid back on earth it is better then getting paid back after we die.

Well, then you're just redefining Satan and Hell. The terms Satan and Hell have long been understood to be a person and a place. So why would you redefine those words when we have existing words that better describe negative states of mind?
Words like, regret, suffering, etc.

What you are describing is a "Glimpse" of Hell.
Yes God is love. Heaven is being in the presence of love. Hell is moving away from love.
We know that we are to get glorified bodies when we go to heaven. This is because the body was part of what we used to bring good and as such should receive reward. When we almsgive we used our hands ... when we smile we use our face.
Hell is physical and spiritual torture. The body participated in the sin, and it is right that the body be present for the punishment. So, when our hands vandilize others property, our hands are also part of the crime.

Well, it is for sure, unless We Know Jesus>>>>we will find out Pronto>>>that Satan and Hell are NOT a state of Mind! "The enemy will show "all" Who rejects Jesus at a Future Date." > That He Is Alive and Well, and waiting to have their company in a Real Hell.

I don't think that that is biblical....Either way it is not as good as being in the glory of God.....I am not 100% sure where I stand on the Hell Fire doctrine, but I asked myself: Why is it so easy to believe in Heaven and not in Hell.......We seem to feel like we can earn Heaven, but the idea of hell makes us question god....Just thinking out loud......

What if hair would become valuable, would poor people suddenly become bald?
Fact is, Satan and Hell are real - just because some people choose not to think that way isn't going to change the fact.
The Devils greatest trick was to convince people that he doesn't exist.
