Almost everybody that has answered your wuestion has a point but lets say we did go to war it will not be good for the US there is alot of reasons why first if we went to war with mexico over illegal immigration central america and some south american countries will join the war to help mexico out second hispanics are a high percentage in the US which means we would have the enemies in our own country people would be in riots around the whole country our country would be so destroyed we would be a third world country i am hispanic so im pretty sure it wont happen

No. For starters, we already went to war with Mexico a gazillion years ago and that didn't end well for them. I doubt Mexico would be willing to repeat the experience.

Seriously though, we wouldn't gain anything by going to war with Mexico. They have no oil and then the US corporations would lose their border factory towns with all that cheap labor. And before you start blaming all of the illegal aliens in the country on Mexico, keep in mind that a huge number of illegal aliens are also from China and Eastern Europe from the states that were part of the Communist Block.

It is impossible, it would be the fight between David and Goliat.
Mexico has a valid reason to be. in Florida, Texas and all the States west of the Continental Divide were part of Mexico. Do you know that the Canyon of Colorado was discovered by Francisco Vásquez de Coronado a Spanish? Also America comprises all the countries from Alaska to Cape Horn and that by this reason Mexico is also America. Mexicans are not illegal "aliens" in the USA, they have the right to be in. The invasion by illegals would be a nonsense reason for a war.

No, I don't believe that the Government will ever really do anything effective about any of the illegals from anywhere.
In the future however; I can see a civil war, the American people will only take so much.
With a Government that disregards the desires of its citizens, and an influx of illegal aliens; many of whom have publicly admitted to a desire to destroy our country, we will eventually say enough.
The illegals and the Government itself are showing their disregard for the Constitution and our laws; when the people finally realize their is no one to help them, and the laws no longer apply, they will revolt.

No. The two countries need each other... Most Mexicans that come here illegally, only do so to take their families out of poverty. They know that they can get jobs here. There is no reason to go to war over this. If we US citizens are really concerned, we need to stop employers from hiring people that are not eligible to work here. If we don't give them jobs they won't come.
I hope we can give the illegal immigrants that have established their families here, the opportunity to become legal residents. Their children (who are born here and are citizens) should not have to live in fear of being separated from their parents.

No. I think the hispanics will wake up soon and see how the illegals disgrace not only us, but them. The illegals are making it harder for people to come here legally. They make the lines longer by not waiting their turn and are ruining immigration for the decent law abiding people.
