I print out Paula Deen's recepie for Cheessy Broccoli Bake but it says 1/2 puond cheese product, softened And I do not remember what that looks like it, please help, because the the dish looks sooo good,

That refers to velveeta or the 'store brand' of velveeta. It's made to melt more smoothly.

Velveeta. I hadn't bought any in a long time. I knew what the box looked like but couldn't find it. They used to keep it in the dairy case with the cheese. At my grocery store, it's been moved to the regular aisle by salsas, soup mixes.

I used to hate Velveeta, but that's what it is. It melts extremely well and doesn't curdle.

I am sure it means velveetta, but some how I can't bring myself to use that. I would substitute cheddar and a little milk or cream.

You can also use Cheez Whiz, Easy cheese, anything at the store that says "cheese food"
