I like to add my favourite chopped veggies and poaching a whole egg in the broth at the same time as cooking the noodles.
Or sometimes draining the water from the noodles and veggies 1st, and then stirring in the flavour packet, when I don't feel like having "soup".
Ramen noodles are good to smash up while still in the bag and eat as a snack or add to crunch to a salad, especially with sesame dressing.

Kicked Up Jerk Ramen

Ingredients:
1 package Chicken-flavored Ramen noodles
2 tblspn Carribean Jerk Seasoning
Boil 2 cups of water. Add noodle mix. Slowly add seasoning as noodles boil -- only add 1 tblspn before you add the chicken seasoning.

After three minutes (may vary, depending on how al dente you like your Ramen), turn off the heat. Add chicken seasoning packet and the rest of the jerk seasoning. Stir and eat.

I don't even use the flavor packet, I like them plain, but sometimes I add in diced up boneless/skinless chicken breast that I sauteed in garlic and olive oil.
I cook the noodles in just a bit of water because I don't like them soupy. You can even add them to the skillet with the chicken and add in some soy sauce or terriayki sauce.

i add veggies and egg or meat to it and only half the seasoning packet. it makes it kind of like lo mein! or you could use spagettie sauce or alfredo sauce both of those are really good on ramen noodles

When I was in college, I dumped parmesan cheese and garlic on the noodles. You can try red pepper too. Bam!
