Almost every day for most of my adult life, I'm a Casino Manager. The casinos casinos in the UK are pants though they always have been and I can't see it changing in the near future. If you go abroad try visiting one there is more to do than gamble lots of the casinos will have shows on of one kind or another. If you ever get Moscow in Russia you can visit my casino it's called Casino De Paris.

No, but I worked in a Bingo Hall. I only ever did the odd sweep-stake and the lottery before I worked there but afterwards I have not gambled at all. Seeing all those people wasting their money and how addicted they were was incredibly depressing.

I've been to a few simply to eat but honestly I don't see whats so great. Racket everywhere from people losing at slots, poor old ladys simply don't understand the odds of winning.

There's better ways to waste your time then this, well, atleast there's other ways of it without losing so much money. Like Drinking and whatnot I guess.

I gambled in the Casino at Monte Carlo, and lost. I visited their no-limit room, where the big money was on the table.

I used to go with my ex to a casino in London. Was not as glam as I had expeted. As you have to be a member all food and drink was free which was cool but I didnt play the tables....I was a watcher !

Yes - in Madeira. It was about as exciting as the proverbial drying paint scenario; in retrospect, I'd rather have gone out for a decent meal.

Yes, it is incredibly easy to spend a fortune, if you are clever though you can have a cheap night out if you ignore the tables
