no, but we'd be ineffective, and not be able to defend ourselves. China would have taken us over a long time ago. Britain almost did that in 1812

If this were so I do not believe that the individual militia's would be involved with foreign affairs right away. I do think there where would be civil war amongst the states. The states would then become individual countries which would mean that we would be weaker against invasions from other countries. California would become a wealthy country and neighboring states such as AZ, NV depending upon it...

In 1812 it was the militias that refused to cross the river because they were scared of the Indians. They don't have to fight on foreign soil.

No, we would be busy fighting each other. Montana wants to annex north and south dakota to give our people expansion room. We would enter into a non-agression pact with idaho and wyoming during that time span.

no we would not, be in foreign wars if that was the case, main reason being each state would have to be funded seperatly making it tough to fiance the war
