can they eat baked rice, spaghetti, buckwheat??

Sure you can offer them those foods. white rice, brown rice, along with lots of pasta and buck wheat. Add in some veggies and fruit once a week with some meats.

Stay away from Chocolate, caffiene products, apple & pear seeds, and Avocado's they are toxic to birds. Just because a pet store might sell the following, it don't mean it's good to use with your bird also: mite boxes, corn cob bedding, walnut shell bedding, sand paper perch covers, or grit.

Yes, Budgies need a varied diet, just like you do. But, they cannot live on just rice or spaghetti. They also need vegetables, beans, and eggs. Make a little casserole from whatever you are having for dinner and offer it in a little dish to your bird. Wash and reuse the same dish, that way he will get used to it, and he will soon let you know what his favorites are. Be sure to offer seed and pellet diet along with offering soft foods.

I used to give mine pieces of fruits and sprigs of parsley, but never I never heard of giving a bird those food items.
