I doubt it. I assume that truth is absolute, there either is or is not a Creator God. And as of now, we have no evidence of one. Atheist by default.
[edit] Hey, are you on the same beach as I am?

It depends on your definition of God. Is God the supernatural creator of all that is? I would disagree. Could God be the creator of humans? Yes, quite possibly. While there is no true evidence to support such a theory, it is not out of the spectrum of possibility. It is quite possible that there are beings superior to humans somewhere amongst the vast anti-matter.
They could be the same god. God hasn't made any appearances in over 2600 years.

I was born and raise a Christian girl, but now have slightly strayed away. I was always taught to believe in God and have faith that he is real. I'm not sure if God really exists or is just some made up spiritual being to lure people into religion. I guess it just depends on what you believe.

Honestly well i would prefer to think that god exists because life would seem pointless if there were no "reason" that encourages us to be good or bad. For example just as the kid will not steal chocolate because he / she knows she will face some punishment sooner or later, we too behave in such a way; I mean that if we did not think that we would be rewarded or punished by our good / bad actions, or that those that have hurt us or pleased us will be punished or rewarded, what would we really do? However there is another reason which makes me say that i do believe that god exists; yet i cant explain it... it s by the thing which is more commonly refereed to as "LOVE".

Yes God does exist? he provides a instruction manual for us.
If you study this manual you will come to an accurate knowledge
Of God,what his plans are for his earth, and where you fit in.
No! all religions are not right. you will also find this out when you start your study of his manual for you.
If you have a bible with a word dictionary in it you can look up words pertaining to the subject you are interested in, and gain knowledge about it. if you have specific questions you can ask and I will be glad to show you where to look? gemhandy@hotmail.com

The Earth is billions of years old and in all that time not one single shred of evidence has come to light to show the existence of a god or gods

There are 9,999 names for God and none of them are the right one. God speaks to me. God guides me. God has killed my enemies for me. I don't need any further "proof." I wish I could tell you more exactly that you're on the right track but if you are God will bless you.

The fact that I know Him pretty much settles the question of His existence, just like anyone else I know.
