Maybe I'm hallucinating, but for as long as I can remember, I've seen flashing patterns of "static" along with "floaters" and what looks like flecks of snow falling across my vision. It never stops, and it is getting worse and worse over these few months. Along with that, every now and then this ringing in my ears starts and drives me insane. Also, sometimes (when I'm lying down, walking, standing up, whatever!) I suddenly feel light headed and like I'm falling. And usually when this happens the static fills my WHOLE vision (like thats all I see) and then when it clears it looks like everything is falling towards me. I have never taken drugs or drank, I'm a teenager, I'm a vegetarian, and I suffer from ADHD and an anxiety disorder. What's wrong with me?

You are not crazy.
Occasional floaters are normal. However, you should go to an opthamologist and tell them about your concerns with your eyes. Your entire field of vision should never be getting clouded. Also, ringing of the ears is normal, but it can also be a sign of hearing loss. Lightheadedness/dizziness can also be a sign of hearing loss.
Maybe it would be best to go see a general doctor to get a physical exam, and tell the doctor what is wrong. If you don't eat enough food (or maybe since you are a vegetarian, if you aren't getting enough of all the nutrients) or if you are taking any medication for your anxiety or ADHD, that might explain some of the problem, but you should still go to the doctor just in case, and to find out what the problem is. The doctor might refer you to a specialist. And then go see the opthamologist.

"Static" in the vision is normal background noise from the visual system.
Ringing in the ears, dizziness, loss of balance, light headedness is not due to eyes. Could be part of your ADHD or anxiety or an ear disorder or a problem with your balance system. Did the eye doctor refer you to a neurologist for neurological testing? If not, ask your family doctor to arrange for a assessment.

First, go to the doctor and get your protien levels checked. Also, ask your doctor about a possible cat scan or MRI for your sinus. I see the floaters too, and it's always when I have a horrible sinus infection. Mine got worse as a teenager and it ended up with me blacking out. Antihistamines help with it or decongestants.

This same thing used to happen to me as a teenager, & even weirder things began happening over time, I still don't think its anything to worry about; but I would consult a doctor to be sure, the ringing in your ears could be an early warning sign of somthing more serious.

This is supposedly common amongst teens. I have it too. A lot of it does come from a protein deficiency (so i've been told). Dont worry, your not crazy. These things that have been happening to you are normal and will probably go away as you age. Try buying a bottle of protein supplement pills. (They're like vitamins) they help allot with what your going through. I hope this helps!

also if you have low blood pressure that can happen.
but the blackouts from lying down to getting up could be from the rush of bloodflow leaveing your head temporarly blacking out your vision. either way you should schedual a physical and talk to your doctor. because it could be a symptom of an underlying problem

first of all,
let me reassure you
you are not crazy
I know what floaters are,
they are caused by eyestrain for doing too much like reading
knitting or any needlework.
I used to get them alot when I did beadwork
my attempts trying to make a necklace in one day.
If the floaters are minor just go and lay down rest your eyes.

You need to go see a neurologist. I was having vision problems (different than yours) and found out I have multiple sclerosis. I'm not trying to scare you, but what you are describing does not sound normal or healthy.

I get the floaters too. Mine are black. It's protein.
With all of the symptoms you have tho, you should go to a doctor. Maybe a neurologist.... Good luck.
