If everybody would repent of their sins and begin to love others as themselves and put their faith in God I think tomorrow would be a lovely day.

First of all we need people respect one another. It seems that everyone thinks it is okay and even funny to be smart mouthed and to make fun of one another for their shortcomings. Whatever happened to the Golden Rule, or does everyone really prefer to be treated rudely? It seems this is an area that is way out of control and needs to be corrected. The question of how to correct it comes up then. First we have to figure out who is to blame. Well, I believe it all starts in the home. I don't believe it is being taught at home like it once was. I think it began to not be taught beginning just after World War II and has trickled down to the present generation with whom simply do not know how to teach their own kids as they were never taught.
We can also blame movies and television where laugh tracks are sounded when a rude remark is made brainwashing society all the more to believing that rude equals funny and is acceptable. I myself am guilty of watching these kinds of movies and television shows. I thought Are We There Yet was hillarious, but what is it teaching the younger generation? So now we know somewhat of who to blame, we come back to how to fix the problem. I would like to see that it be made mandatory that new parents take parenting class that teach them how to teach the kids what is acceptable behavior and what is not, and teach them how to judge television shows for their kids. I would also like for the ratings of movies that promote this kind of behavior be raised. I know that this is going to meet with a lot of disapproval, however we need to start somewhere.
Secondly, we need to take responsibility for our actions, first as individuals then as a whole. Our society is such an It's-not-my-fault society that we have come to the point that no one wants to accept blame for anything so any time there is something that needs to be taken care of, instead of taking care of it, people are just shrugging their shoulders and saying its not my fault if they are not pointing their finger at someone else to blame. I hope this helps. This is my way of answering.

First acknowledge God as above us all and that He is God. Then when we accept the bible as He has given us as the truth and standards for morality we may then know what true love looks like and this will help all people, the love of God is different than the love of people without God because it puts God first and puts others first instead of self.
For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things But seek the kingdom of God, and all these thingsshall be added to you. (Luke 12:30-31)
