With small puppies it's best to use kitchen scales! Put a light cloth in the bowl and make sure it's set at zero. Bathroom scales don't give an accurate reading as they are usually calibrated in lbs. They will give a rough estimate for larger puppies or small dogs though!
If you intend to breed then purchase some proper scales from a Pet Supplier.

Weigh yourself, then pick up puppy and weigh both of you at the same time. The difference between the two weights is the weight of the puppy.
Also, if he gets too big for that, most pet stores where you probably buy all your supplies every couple of weeks, have scales.

Weigh yourself on a digital scale, with and without holding the puppy. Subtract one from the other and you have the weight of the pup.

A vegetable scale works fine for the first couple of weeks. After that, weigh yourself on a bathroom scale then hold the pup and do it again. Subtract.

If you have a fisherman in the family then he should have a set of scales and a weighing sling used for weighing fish. These are more than adequate for a puppy who should sit happily in the sling while being weighed. Do not forget to deduct the weight of the sling from the final reading.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU88l
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

The easiest way is weigh yourself, then pick the dog up and weigh the two of you, the subtract the two weights. You can also get a box that the dog will fit in, put it on the scale, then put your dog in the box.

Buy yourself a good puppy scale.. All you have to do is put them on the scale and voila you have their weights.. You can weigh them as often as you want.. They aren't that expensive, and it will give you a good idea if one isn't doing so well etc.. Then you'll always have a scale for future use!
