Yes, lets fight them over there so we don't have to fight them over here!

I thought it was a bad idea from the get go. I haven't seen anything since to change my mind.

Sadam was a Crook and a murderer with way too much ambition--kinda like Bush. But Bush the first and Clinton had done a good job of keeping him contained and neutralized. All it took was the occasional surgical air strike, which didn't really cost us anything because the Navy has to keep up training levels. Dropping the stuff on Iraq gave the Puerto Ricans a break, because it wasn't being dropped on the range at Vieques Island.

The WMD's were a crock, and the White House never put a lot of effort to pretending they weren't. I mean "Fuel Rods" that were too big and stamped "76mm Rocket?" Come on!

Sadam was a terrorist magnet. He didn't run a good government, but it was the only bona fide non-religious government in ragheadland. And he was a lot better at supressing terrorists than we are.

Five years ago, just about everybody who is killing Americans in Iraq now was cowering in fear for their lives under the brutal Sadam Regime.

Some people just don't know a good thing when they see it.

First of all I don't support preemptive war. In the case of Iraq, I think we are there on false pretense. So far I've not seen any WMD's nor has there been any of the wonderful things that Bush sold us on happened to support his position. The only change that I can see is there plenty of dead and suffering people attributed to this action and the US has spent a ton of money making these people miserable.

have been there a few times since being in and it depends on who you ask,you will get people who are totally against the war and will say anything to make their point and others who keep it professional and say what they able to say with out causing more trouble. We where sent over there to free a people that never really liked us in the first place because they view us as infidels trying to force our way of life on them. Now you will see people say its all for oil or its to free a people. Well yes and no for both of them. No war that the US has fought was not just for help a country but as well as profit, polictical game and that makes the US the savor for a country.Bush has not been the most honest person in our presidental history,is he making money off this war as well as his administraction in some shape or form. Good chance yes, this adminstoraction is pretty corrept as it goes for be honest with the us public. Are we winning the war,not even close. Its not even a war anymore its more of a police action that we are in the middle of thats holding the country togeather. The Iraq troops that we train and work with are not to be trusted 75 percent of the time because we have found connection to insurgents are paying them for intel on training ect.The people are Iraq are getting tired of us being there and they feel that we are controlling their government and in most cases we are, their government is far from ready to take over and the best thing to do is pull out and let thi civil war that we are stuck right dab in the middle in to cool off and let god sort it out. They have been fighting against each other for a hundreds of years like this and the image is burnged into their childrens minds. We have many problems will kids throwing gernades into truck when driving down the roads or parents having their kids straped with a explosive vest and sending him to us at check points. This war will not get better it can only get worse.Have we made it better for them yes if we can get their government to work with its people and if the people respect the government. Untill then we are just another person on strings involed in another puppet government. Our government has made billions off this war selling oil and contracts to companys working in the country, its another vietnam war and its going to take sadly many more lifes and congress to get the political heads out of thei a $ $ and do their jobs for once and not worry about their image to get us out of this war.US soldiers are told what to say if media apporaches them asking about the war,so in reality what we say in piblic or what we believe is 2 differnt things but this is how i feel.

Absolutely disagree

To wage a war that has so far cost 1 million lives because Iraq supposedly had WMDs when we weren't sure, when all evidence by UN inspectors said categorically there weren't any, when we ourselves have since admitted there aren't any.. is plain wrong. It's what dictators do

Bush/bLiar needed cheap oil and WMDs were a convenient excuse

The world is a more dangerous place as a result of the war not vice versa, irrespective of how often Blair/Bush spout their lies

I disagree because it was fought for the wrong reasons, if any. Most Americans today still think that the war in Iraq was because of Osama Bin Laden

I agree. saddam was an unstable threat in the middle east. all u hear are people complaing about the war but have u heard the soldiers complaining. NO they constantly say that they are helping people and it is a great cause. protesters at home should support our troops rather than put them down. they are true heros. god bless America.

I disagree. Whatever our motivations were, our goal of deposing Hussein has been met and now we should be finished.

Keeping the troops in the Middle East is only stirring up the hornet's nest. Best just to leave them alone and let them settle down.

If we weren't invading their countries, they wouldn't be attacking us over here.

The Middle East should be run by Muslims! And Israel can take care of itself.

I do agree but then again I do not. I do not think thee war is right.. but it is the last resort. I mean we have tried talking to them which we cant because its not like we are going against the whole country so we can't go to the government and make a statement. We are only going against 2 groups in I raq so I think that it is very nessecary and also the Iraqies are the one who picked the fight! plus I mean its not like the war has just started...it has been going on for so long and you should relize that the US is not going to give up... they are going to keep fighting until the Iraqies surrender! but to answer your question I am individually set in this situation!

Didn't we go into Iraq to find Bin Laden? Wait, he doesn't live there. Now, I remember. Weapons of mass destruction. But they weren't there either. So tell me again why all those men and women are dying?
