any dog friendly beaches is Tampa, clearwater,bradenton area?

so ive been telling my daughter we will find a dog friendly beach to take my two dogs ,can anyone help me out?
and do they need to be on a leash ?

If you head to Davis Island (where Tampa General Hospital is) and keep heading back past the airport (Peter O'Knight) you will see a boat ramp on the left. To the left there is a dog beach park there. Over 200 people a day during the week use it and the weekends can draw 500 uses
