It is not uncommon for a female cat to give give birth to a dead kitten. Be thankful that she expelled it! A dead kitten can cause all types of bacterial problems for the mother and any live kittens left in the womb.
Only you can decide if you Mama cat is stressed out. If she seems rather nonchalant then All is well. If she is not contracting and doesn't look stressed then the other kittens should follow.......exactly when is anyone's guess.
However if there is not activity within 24 hours, better get the kitty to the vet. There is a chance that all the kittens may be still born and therefore it is eminent that she gets those kitties out of her before she gets sick and dies.
The use of Oxytosin will help to expel kittens but should not be used on a Mama cat unless the kittens in the womb are in fact dead.
Find a vet who is open on Saturday and be prepared to go there if necessary

Don't panic. How can you be sure that there are more? Generaly 3 -4 hours between babies is normal in cats and dogs, don't leave it too long before calling the vet especially if she appears to be straining. Cats and dogs have loads of babies to ensure that a large portion of them live, it is a hard sad fact of life but not all will make it. If she has a green discharge after the dead one, call the vet sooner. Good Luck.

A cat's uterus has two horns. The number of kittens are usually equally divided in the two sides. So, it is likely that she has one or two kittens still, but in the other horn.
One of my girls took upto 9-hour breaks in between delivering sides. Her daughter once took a three-day break.
As long as mom is relaxed, eating, drinking and eliminating normally, not fevered (be sure to check), and isn't spotting puss or blood AND you still feel babies kicking inside, I would not worry. Trust your intuition as to whether or not anything is wrong with your cat. Of course, going to the vet is ALWAYS a safe bet.
The kitten that was not living may have been affected by an infection of the uterus. Giving mom antibiotics now might be a good idea to keep the other babies safe.

to be on the safe side take your cat to the vet to have him check your cat,she could have more kittens inside and even though she isnt showing any signs of labor now she could all of a sudden deliver more kits. its better to get her checked out,the vet could tell if there are anymore inside and how ,many there are.some cats have trouble delivering their young and a vet could assist your cat should there be anymore babies on the way.get her to a vet asap!

GET HER TO THE VET!! If your regular vet is not available you need to call an emergency vet. She needs to be seen NOW!
Poor little momma. She knows one of her babies was stillborn. Please let her see it before you have a burial. And be kind to her; though she may have more babies coming she will still mourn her lost baby. Animals DO know.

Relax!!!!! Cats, like people, have their babies in their own time. My cat had three babies one day( one stillborn) and two babies two days later( one stillborn). It is sad when they are born dead, but just stay with your cat, rub her sides, and talk to her. If she starts showing signs of distress, take her to your vet.
