Just wanted to hear from the Christian group if they believe that metal music is evil.

Not all of it. There are Black Metal bands from Norway that talk about how they worship Satan so they are but not everyone. You can't just group all people together. Groups like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Metallica are not evil. They just play heavy music full of passion but are chastised as evil from religious groups and the media.

There is such thing as Christian Metal music. Christian music comes in many varieties. A song can be a bad thing if it glorifies sin and satan. If you are listening to a song that is about immoral sex, drugs, violence...that isnt good for you. Whatever you see and hear becomes part of you. So this music is junk for your mind. The lyrics are what really makes a song. As for metal, I dont like it but perhaps you wont like to listen to what I listen to either.

blatantly satanic metal obviously is, and I think non-blatantly satanic metal (that isn't christian) is also routinely used by the enemy of our souls to hurt people. Christian metal's not satanic, but after 25 years I think it's a bit played.

Metal music may be boring most of the time (especially post-Zeppelin), but it's not evil.

There are Christians in the world that believe KISS (as in the band) still stands for "Knights (or Kids) In Satan's Service".
Yet, these people wonder why they are ridiculed.

Man heavy metal is my life. Satan is the god of metal but we resist his evil and bathe in his rock. The devil said "let their be rock" and there was. And he saw that it was badass

Metal is not evil. It may be the soundtrack of hell but it is not inherently evil.
