They say they hate them because they are illegal. if that is the case why are they hated in Mexico.

by no means think that I am better than the illegals. I have much respect for the "illegal" people who are here to do good things in this country. I personally know many people who's legal status is "doubtful" ( don't ask, don't care) and are hard working people who are here to try and realize the American dream. It's these people I feel sorry for because they get attacked from right and left. They get taken advantage of and it saddens me that this so called "great country" treats them like dirt. These are the people who deserve to be here.
I was fortunate enough to be able to come here legally but I realize that other people did not have the same opportunities as I did.

Many of those so called "legal" Mexicans would never have become legal if it weren't for the amnesty of 1986 who gave citizenship to their illegal parents (who then would be able to petition their families. They should be ashamed to think that they're better.
The only illegals that I really hate are the ones who come here expecting everything to be handed to them. I hate the criminals, and by that I mean the ones who commit crimes other than crossing a "border".
