Should I wear a skirt?

Question

Here's the deal. I'm 5'7, 126 lbs, but I am very self concious. For work I'm always in suits and whenever I wear a skirt, it's always below the knee or right at it as to not be too revealing. But because of that, I am self concious about my knees and NEVER wear skirts above them. I was thinking about it and want to know if I should. My fiance loves skirts, but I'm just so scared and don't think that I have nice legs. What should I do??

wow..you sound just like me..i know i look great in a skirt but for work i dress also with fitted slacks and on weekend i wear jeans or capris...no skirts..but when i am home and my BF comes over i wear short shorts that shows my booty and skirts real short..so that makes up for my not wearing it at work..and beside i dont like to call attention to myslef so i down play my looks a lot..even though i do this i still get attention..but for you someone was right..if your finance loves you in skirt then thats all you need to boost your self esteem

If your fiance likes how you look in skirts, then that must be a good sign that you look just fine in them. Don't worry; a lot of people are self concious about their appearances. Take me for example: I won't wear skirts unless they go at least to the middle of my shins!

Just be more confident. You'll look just fine.

Your fiance must have seen your knees, and if he thinks you should wear a skirt, then you should feel comfortable in them. Not that you should wear it because he want you to; the point I am making is that if he thinks you look good in them, then you look good in them, and that's that.

Do what you're comfortable with. No one has memorized your wardrobe at work. If you want to keep wearing the same skirts, you're fine. If you'd like to wear shorter ones (as long as they're acceptable), try it out. Just don't wear one and spend all day worrying about it. Just be yourself... Nobody can say anything about that. please, wear a skirt!!

im shorter and weigh more than you and i wear them all the time. They're comfortable, airy, cool, and you can dance in them like crazy! Plus, there's something really alluring and feminine about wearing a skirt, regardless of what boyfriends or fiancees think, it just feels good to wear one! You don't have to wear a mini skirt to be sexy, but if you did, I'm sure you would be.

I felt that way for a long time but then I just took a dive and then I realized that I look pretty good in a skirt. So throw one on and surprise your fiance

I'm sure your legs are fine but without a pic it's hard to know for sure. But why do you care what other people think anyway? If you want to wear a skirt, or you want to wear one for your man, than do it! Screw what others think, whether it's good or bad!

Wear a skirt for your fiance but go to work conservative. You seem to have the right idea about how to dress at work.

I hate knees too no joke. Sometimes I ask myself WHY DID G-D CREATE KNEES!!

But still...I think you should wear a skirt. It's summer...it's hot.

You are tall and thin, flaunt it off girl! You have noo reason to be self concious at all! I have boney knees and so I know how you feel, but youll eventually get use to it and love to wear them :] Surprise your fiance!
