i think i have it right i mean i hook a lil bit of the front of the worm then turn the hook and put it in the body, but is it suppose to remain in the body or come out a lil bit . i hooked 3 fish yesterday one even tried to run off with my bait but the hook never sat. they could of been small idk, but im not confident with the set up tho. ps.im using off set hooks.

Dont texas rig just stick the hook in the tip of the worm push it all the way down inti the worm until its half way down then push through the middle with the hook showing. Even the slightest jerk will set the hook in a fish but you will also get it snagged quite a bit if you fish where theres alot of debris around

Hooksets are free, use them liberally.

You should get pictures just typing "Texas rig" into google images. A Texas rig should be weedless (point all the way in the plastic), and if you're not hooking, you're not setting the hook hard enough. Good fishing!!

Yeah set the hook hard...try low strech line like Spectra "Power Pro"
