Yes people do seem to get an air of importance about them when on their mobiles in public. It's like, "oh look at me" i'm so sophisticated.
But when phones are so common sophistication looks common.

Also when everyones got one, your not exclusive anymore, if you want to be original and noticed, don't buy one!

It looks tacky to me, when I see someone on the street and they're talking on their phone. Or when people come in my store and talk loud and draw a crowd....it's stupid, I know, but hey....
That's the point of having mobile phones: so you can talk on the phone anywhere you are.....it just looks so....I don't know......tacky....

Here's what I hate about cell phones:

1. So expensive sometimes.
2. Bad service areas.
3. People use them while driving (you're already bad drivers...you need MORE help in emphasizing that fact?)
4. It seems that in a public place, as soon as the phone rings, the person must just STOP right in the middle of the way and be all loud and obnoxious on the phone. Stupid.
5. Parents get them for their little kids, who don't even need/appreciate effing cell phones in the first place...kids rack up a big bill, parents pay it, and then the whole family is stupid.
6. When those ignorant waste-of-life teenage girls get all mad at each other and leave each other nasty texts and voicemails. What baffles me? If you little scumbuckets are soo proud of the fact that you can share your mind and idiocy by cussing someone out on their cell at 4 am...why not have some balls and unblock your number? If I ever caught my daughter doing that...oh man...

There's more here and there, but those are the basics for me.

I hate when the battery dies, and waiting to charge it. I'm not a particularly patient person.
I hate that they are so sensitive and they break very easliy when I drop them.
I hate having to listen to people screaming into their bluetooth headsets. I hate helping people try to synch their bletooth headsets up to their phones because it's annoying.
I hate that every cell phone company and manufacturer has different software, and it's hard to help other people use a phone I'm not familiar with.
And I hate it when people come into my store talking into them and expect me to talk to them at the same time.

I don't like the distraction they cause.

It is quite irritating to pull up to a drive thru window and find the employee talking with someone on their cell phone and trying to talk to you in between.

Driving and talking on cell phone(unless hand free) should be illegal in every state.

Children should only have in case of emergency and NOT a form of entertainment.

My sudden dependence on the damned thing!
And maybe the possible future brain cancer.
Oh yeah, and the people who don't understand the basic cell phone etiquette in public places.

The fact that they have taken rudeness to a new level. I don't want to hear everyone's business at the top of their voices everywhere I go. And don't even get me started on the Bluetooth technology!!!

People who think they have to talk all LOUD into their mobile phone as if it's 2 cans on the end of string. PEOPLE, IT HAS A BUILT IN MICROPHONE SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO SHOUT, you freaks.
