Because, it is my sole purpose in life to annoy you, and I take pride in everything I do, unlike you! I saw the way you half-heartedly slurped the last of your soda! What would your mother say?

My husband does that sometimes. He doesn't do it on purpose, and I don't think he even realizes it is that loud. In fact, I think it is not that loud. I think you are hypersensitive. It doesn't go on for long anyway, because he eats the popcorn after I have had my fill and I have most of it.
It is part of the fun of going to the movies, eating popcorn out of a bag. It is just not the same out of a bowl in your home watching a DVD.

How else are you supposed to distribute the butter and salt evenly once you get to the middle of the bag? I'm one of the dreaded "popcorn-bag-shakers," but I try to do it quietly.
If YOU are the man sitting behind me who chews his popcorn with his mouth open, I wish YOU would stop!!! (And stop using the back of my chair as a foot rest, while you're at it!)

The very reason I have stopped going to the theater...Blockbuster has become my cinema of choice.
(Not to mention those who like to talk out loud as though they are in the privacy of their own home...)

I'd rather have a popcorn rattler than a screaming baby, moron on their cell phone, someone who kicks my seat, or kids who don't shut up near me.
