I carpool, recycle my water bottles, get water from artesian wells, recycle bags, give away things on freecycle.com rather than throw them away, donate things to various organizations, and other stuff.

And before anyone asks, i believe most of that does affect global warming, since if we just toss things and don't reuse things, the energy and factories that go to work getting rid of it or recycling it for me put out tons of gases.

I personally don't believe that global warming exists. I do believe that the earth, like everything in life, has cycles that it goes through. Everything that is on the Earth has started out as part of the Earth.......so I don't believe that we can really "hurt" the Earth with anything that we do. (I won't drive a hybrid car.....I love my Jeep, and my Dodge Ram!)

That said, I love plants and flowers and I have a garden. I do plan to plant a vegetable garden in the future, but that is more for my family's health and my own satisfaction than anything else. Of course my family doesn't litter and we usually will pick stuff up if we see it. (But that's because it's just nicer when the places we go for walks don't have trash all over).

I drive a hybrid...whoops! Sorry, I do this and many other energy and resource conserving actions to try to be good to the environment, as I have for many years before this thing called "global warming".

Little kids' moms used to say that they'd grow potatoes in their ears unless they washed them...

When my girls were young, I used to take advantage of the 9 o'clock train blowing it's whistle near our home. I told my girls that a "witch train" was coming to pick up all the little girls who weren't in bed. Worked like a charm, and yes, I still feel a little guilty about that one...but hey, I never said I was perfect.

I do many things . For example : i wash my clothes with no heat on, i don't use my car any more , i use public transport and i do it for me and others although many of my friends don't believe we have a global warming problem even the heat wave records hit em in the head...they are blind i guess
or this maybe depend of IQ level.
If you don't know a problem or scientific details of her that doesn't mean that problem don't exist.
100 TOP scientists of the WORLD say we have a global warming problem and is man made one and still are many who have no more than 2 school class and they think are smarter

One thing?? I think one should do a lot of thing to reduce GW.

I don't burn anything, I don't take my car while travelling short distances, I never use washing machine and lastly I always turn off the plugs after use be it the TV or the computer.
Remember we have got only 8 years to save our planet.

At least what little I can do is I do not waste paper, do not use Air conditioners, do no use incandescent lamps, as for as possible grow trees, try to help animals and do not waste food or go for extravagant food and avoid spending lavishly on unnecessary gadgets and do not talk much in phones. All this help in conservation of energy and resources which otherwise get wasted. if people stop talking too much that it self saves huge energy wastage.

I am volunteering for a recycling program, which focuses on things people throw at big parties like plastics and papers and all recyclable things. We go there to try to gather those things up and recycle them.
