Just go with the platinum.

I do know that palladium is from the same metallic family as platinum, so they have very similar elemental properties. It's less expensive, however. It's got the same look to it as platinum, but from what I understand, palladium does not have the heft of platinum.

Palladium is more expensive than platinum and rarely used in jewelery. It is slightly whiter, much lighter and about 12% harder.

That's easy. Platinum means you love her more. She'll not want palladium due to the fact that you are even asking that question.
