Forgive and become a hermit.
That's what I have done.
Most people suck, but that doesn't mean I have to.
Pot-smoking helps as well.

Get a better job?
Yeah. I'm not a big people fan either. Well, I'm not a big "the masses fan". The behavior of your average american, to me, is reprehensible.
SO- I counteracted that with being an activist for other deserving causes. Innocents that need my help, exposing and boycotting damaging corrupt industries, working for worker rights for the disenfrachised - you know, that sort of hippie bleeding heart crap? It made me a lot happier with people as a whole. I mean, the jerks who are doing it are still jerks and I loathe them more than ever. But there are more people on the recieving end of the injustice than on the distributing end of it, and that combined with meeting other people working for someone else's sake makes me feel better.
You don't have to be a liberal hippie like me. There are TONS of causes if you don't have my exact same ideology, I just reccomend finding one that suits you.
I'll even forgive you if it's in direct opposition to one of mine. You know. But just this once.

It's better to light a candle than to curse the darkness........ so many people misinterpret this to mean "smoke pot". It doesn't mean that.
Stop being part of the problem and become part of the solution.
