BINGO! yes ma'am you are correct, yet you are wrong, lol, they are sperate yet they are one. This is the mystery of the Trinity. These are the things that the flesh cannot comprehend. IT is something that you will find out when you get to heaven, so you have to take that they are seperate yet together in good faith.

Catholics (I'm one of them) understand that the word "trinity" doesn't exist in the Bible. But as you read the entire book and study every word, you will see that there are 3 Divine states or people that exist 'in' or 'as' God. There is the Father, El, Elohim, Our Creator of all that is seen and unseen. There is the Son that the Father sent. The Father promises His choosen people a Messiah, a Redeemer, a Saviour and that person is the Son of God, also called God the son. His human name is Emmanuel/Jehovah/Jesus. And there is the Holy Ghost/Spirit. Jesus promised His followers an advocate, a guide. The Holy Spirit is mentioned throughout the OT and NT as the Spirit of God and the Spirit of the Lord as well.
When studying the entire Bible, you will see hundreds of references to 3 states/persons of God. These 3 are one God but they are separate from one another, being they have different roles in God's plan of savlation for mankind and our souls' eternal lives. The Father is not the Son and the Son is not the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is not the Father. But the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit are God.

I believe in God The Father-God -The Son-God The Holy Ghost I believe that they are as one but at the same time God The Father was in Heaven when Jesus died on the cross and the Holy Spirit is here with us now to guide us and enter our lives if we let him. Jesus is in Heaven with God The Father now.

Three in One. Like an apple. The skin of the apple is the Holy Spirit. The meat of the apple is Jesus. The Core of the apple is God the Father. All three are separate but still part of the same entity.

Almost right. Jesus and the Holy Ghost are separate from God the Father. But they are not separate from God, since they are God. Read this. It will explain as clearly as possible just what the early Christian Church believed:

Challenge for you, if you believe they are separate start looking at there attributes. How do you get around the verse tha Jesus says, I and the Father are one. I sorry you need to do a lot more research into this. Even though you can see them is separate they are united as one. Yes I am tritarian.
Need to find a good greek and hebrew test translation has well when studying. Or learn Hebrew and Greek yourself and learn the actually text. I think you be quite enlightened.

This was one of the early controversies of the christian church. Your view is probably similar to the one known as Arianism (after Arius who lead the movement). Arianism was the prime motivator for the writing of the Nicean Creed with its emphasis on the trinity.
There are many bible verses that indicate that Jesus thought of god as a separate person. For example:
John 14:28: "You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I."
John 20:17: Jesus saith unto her, "Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and [to] my God, and your God."
1Timothy 2:5: For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
By the way, I have to apologize. I'm not a christian who believes in god, Jesus, and the holy ghost. Just your friendly neighborhood Atheist.

Refer to a Study Bible and go the verse John 1:1. Then go to the notes on the verse and it will clearly explain the Trinity. My reference is the MacArthur Study Bible....it has been a great tool along with a prayer before reading.
hope this helps

They are not separate, they are one. The Jews knew there was only one God. Christ confirmed this when He said in Mark 12:28-31 "28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?" 29 "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' 31 The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
Notice how He says, "The Lord is one." There are not many Gods, there is one God. Because the Jews knew this to be true, they accused Jesus of blasphemy, as it says in John 5:18 "For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God."
By calling God his own Father, He was proclaiming to be God. Since there is only one God, there can be only one Son of God. That is why Jesus is called "The one and only Son of God" or in some versions it is translated, "The only begotten Son of God."

God in the first 2 commandments states that we should love him alone and never make any graven image of him, so Jesus is a seperate entity from God, Those that belief Jesus is God are violating the first 2 commandments, for God would not take form of any image and break His own commandments, plus Jesus in the profesied messiah sent by God to reign here on this little planet, never in the profesies does it state that God would come to Earth and show us his form

If you separate them, how do you not separate power?
Jesus was given all power, did that render God powerless.
Mary was impregnated by the Holy Spirit, does that make Jesus the Son of the Holy Spirit?
Humans are tri-part beings. Flesh, Spirit, Soul. If you separate them, you kill the person.
Just my opinion of the scriptures.
