To people who believe in GOD?

I read so many responses from posters some that are pretty vile agaisnt me for one, but other's as well, who say terrible things when we post anything that has to do with GOD's commandments for the human race.

This is *Hate Speech* ? Is this the conspiracy to get rid of religion from the mainstream because people no longer want to hear, read or listen anything that comes from the Holy Bible.

If we are on a Religion and Sprituality Site isn't this a appropriate venue to speak of GOD the Holy Bible and his commandments?

If not here then where?

no matter where..it's always going to be like that. if you don't agree with the world..the world will treat you like crap and call you a "bigot and in-tolerant" when in fact they are the ones insulting you. they are so blinded by hate. basically their practicing what they preach. people don't want to see God's love, they would rather see the violence and "preach" off of that. they only read 2% of the bible and piggy back off of that. if they read the bible as so many claim they do they would atlast aknowldge the love of Chrsit for the people in this world. no matter where you are...you stand up for God and don't worry about the world. the greatest gift is from God and not the world.

My personal opinion is that you do not ever attempt to discuss anything with some one who is not 'a believer' and toting the party line. The only think you can do is throw out some quote as an answer and expect everyone to accept it since you do. A quote of some book, any book, is not an answer, it is a quote some one else decided is an answer or just something they wrote. It usually has nothing to do with what ever the question was.

people yell foul, intolerance, bigotry and hate because thats what people like you preach. If christians kept their religion to themselves instead of trying to force it upon everyone, then we wouldnt have this problem. I dont care if someone is christian, so long as they dont try to interfere in MY life. I dont try to interfere in their life, why should they in mine? And yes, your voting against gay mariage is interfering in mine, and me voting for it does not interfere in yours because it does nothing to hurt you. Keep religion to yourself, have a personal relationship with god, and when i say personal, that means DONT TALK ABOUT IT TO ANYONE WHO DOESNT WANT TO HEAR IT AND DONT LET YOUR DECISIONS EFFECT PEOPLE WHO DONT BELIEVE THE SAME AS YOU. And then we will all get along. but you people cant do that can you? Untill you do, you will be considered biggots, and a people who spread hate and intollerance, because thats what you are doing to people who dont believe what you believe, period, end of discussion.

anywhere but here. religion is a fancy word for a cult. if you would simply step outside your body for one second and look threw another's eyes and compare god to a cult. he demands you act on certain way, follow his ways and only his, put him before all others and even make sure you only believe in him.... wtf... if that's not a cult i don't know what is. and if you think you will pull a "but its for the best" or whatever. that's the same thing people say when the join cults. if you believe in god its because you lead yourself to believe you are a failure and he is your easiest and simplest escape route. you need to do something with your life and start taking responsibility for your actions, it wasn't god that made you decide to jump into the water to save a drowning boy.... IT WAS YOU! and last but not least.... i really hate it when ever he does something good its " i was gods will" and when its something bad its " he works in mysterious ways" its the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. you need to rethink your life, i don't care if you believe in god, but if you base any part of your life on it you are messed up.... oh and did you know that over 60% of divorces are christian? simply because the want to get married to have sex without going to hell? weird huh....

It's not when you post "anything that has to do with GOD's commandments for the human race". It's when you post intolerant, bigoted hate speech like http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AuyZs6b0XqTwCFddAWW.Nnfg5gt.?qid=20070706101447AAPuYYM and http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AgehF3unqN8cl3vp1_np4Mbh5gt.?qid=20070703081617AAeobgk which aren't even questions.
And in this question you specifically and unambiguously condemn tolerance: http://au.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AqFYBkMK4qW8lMOiwdYgS7fh5gt.?qid=20070621095238AA2Waa2 If that isn't intolerant then what is?

You give reason to get hate replies,
you have your opinions but here is
not the place, i dont know
where but anywhere that doesn't
make all christians seem rude
and ignorant.

Hate cannot be meaningfully directed toward a fictitious being. If you want to base your life on the writings of bronze age desert nomads, expect people to find it laughable.

Saying that there's no proof of God is a valid argument. You can call it intolerance, bigotry and hate if you want to play the victim.

Open your eyes dearheart. It isn't just directed at you. It's not about those who believe vs those who don't. Everyone is hateful when it comes to someone contradicting the beliefs they hold to be truth. Christian, atheist, buddist, pagan, hindu, it doesn't matter. Christians attempt to play the martyr card, but it doesn't work. They are just as hateful as everyone else especially when it comes to "sharing" their "truth". Get over it. It's not about you. The world doesn't need another martyr.
